Dear Friend of Peace -

I want to personally invite you to join me on the journey through the time of preparation for the most defining moments of our faith - the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus the Christ. The time that is traditionally called "Lent" in Christian churches.

Our theme for the journey will be "A Life Worth Living." The journey will kick off with our Ash Wednesday services February 14th at noon and 7pm.   On Ash Wednesday we "remember you are dust, and to dust you shall return." What is a life worth living if we are nothing but dust? As we get older and deal with illnesses and no longer build a career, we wonder: What is a life worth living?

Our midweek worship services after Ash Wednesday during Lent will be Wednesdays at 4pm. After worship, we will gather in the Good Samaritan Hall for a time of soup and fellowship. We journey together.

Peace Church has been blessed with many incredible people. Many of them have thought about this question "What Is A Life Worth Living" in their own contexts. Instead of a "traditional" sermon, you will get to know and hear from some of our amazing friends at Peace from their own perspective.

What do you think are the ingredients of a "life worth living"?  Please join me on the journey. And let us enjoy delicious soup and great fellowship together!

 Pastor Andreas
